Elizabeth Pulman (1836-1900), 'Pineaha Warekohai', an albumen photograph, titled within the image and numbered 71, 28cm x 21cm. Elizabeth Pulman (originally from Lymm Cheshire) is regarded as the first professional female photographer in New Zealand. She, and her husband George, ran a photography studio in Auckland. CONDITION: Some wear to all edges, folding over at both left corners. Wear to other two corners. Small tear to bottom edge.  Image surface with light age wear. Perhaps lightly faded at edges. Minor browning verso. 28cm x 21.3cm
