Rare Carl Griesbaum Carved Wood Whistler Tramp Automaton Figure
 
In good condition, well carved, with a pleasing aged patina. The whistling mechanism is working well, but the battery compartment in the base which powers the lamp is missing. Tramp's head turns as he whistles a tune. 46cm tall.
